Online Event : “How to Keep Our Eyes Safe with the Usage of Electronic Devices”

Online Event : "How to Keep Our Eyes Safe with the Usage of Electronic Devices" 1

“I feel wonderful because I see the love light in your eyes, and the wonder of it all is you just don’t realise how much I love you.” – Eric Clapton
Some people say our eyes are the window to our soul and therefore maintaining healthy and bright-looking eyes are extremely important for our overall well-being.
With MCO 3.0 going on, all classes and meetings are now online. We are all spending more time staring at our screens than before. Our children are filling up their time by playing online games and watching online videos. Socialising is done online. Online resources are being used more than ever.
In the midst of all the busyness, do we think twice about the organs that we are stressing while doing these activities? How do we keep our eyes safe with the usage of electronic devices? Do we start getting concerned only when we feel that our eyes are dry throughout the day or only when we feel pain in our eyes? When should we get a check up to evaluate the health of our eyes? Is it normal to see our children blinking more often these days? What do we do when we see our children squint their eyes while looking at the screen?
Join our Director, Ms Aileen Hoe as she speaks to Mr Woon Pak Seong, the owner of Vision Space Optometrist Malaysia, with over 16 years of experience and a team of more than 10 optometrists.

Key topics which will be discussed :
🌟 Will blue light damage the eyes?
🌟 How much time should one spend on digital devices?
🌟 How do we nourish our eyes?

This talk is suitable for parents and educators working with children ages 4 to 12.
