Voice over competition
English Champ and LearningBox have come together for the first time to organise a voice over talent competition to create an opportunity for our children to shine in Champ’s Got Talent!
Who can participate?
Only registered learners of English Champ ages 4+ to 12 can participate in this event.
What do I need to do?
- Prepare your child → 2. Upload video on Facebook → 3. Register → 4. Wait for results
Preparing my child
- Choose one theme from the script.
- Rehearse with your child focusing on the pronunciation, intonation, confidence and clarity of the voice.
- Record your child’s voice based on the script provided.
- Record “behind-the-scene” video of your child recording his/her voice.
- Pick the best recording of your child’s voice.
- Submit the recording of your child’s voice to Ameera at +6014 – 9795813 via WhatsApp
Upload my child’s video on Facebook
- Like English Champ Malaysia and Learningboxkids Facebook page.
- Load your child’s “behind-the-scene” video onto your Facebook account.
- Ensure you turn your privacy setting to ‘public’.
- Tag English Champ Malaysia and Learningboxkids.
- Hashtag #Champ’sGotTalent #VoiceTalentChamp #LBKThisIsTheVoice

Register my child
- Fill in the registration form.
- Copy the link of your Facebook post.
- Paste the link inside the registration form.
Wait for the Results
Announcement of results will be made on 22nd August 2021 , Sunday at 3pm via Zoom
The panelists will be shortlisting the videos based on the participants’ pronunciation, intonation, confidence and clarity of the voice.
All decisions made by the organisers are final.
The organisers reserve the right to amend or withdraw this competition without prior notice.
Winners
All participants are winners in their own unique ways.
Each participant will receive a certificate in recognition for their hard work and focus in producing the video.
Two boys and two girls will be selected as the grand prize winners.
The grand prize winners will be recognised as English Champ’s voice over talents of the year and will be:-
- Featured in over 1000 kindergartens across Malaysia.
- Signed as voice talents for LearningBoxkids, one of Malaysia’s top leading content provider of early childhood education products since 1999 and recognized by kindergartens from all across Asia.
- Appearing as a special cartoon character.
